uAvionix and Airwise Solutions are integrating surveillance and Uncrewed Traffic Management (UTM) capabilities to enhance airspace intelligence and support safe, scalable Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations at Skyway Range.
By integrating uAvionix’s FlightLine surveillance data into the Airwise platform and Nexus common operating picture, the collaboration delivers deduplicated, low-latency cooperative aircraft data directly within the Airwise platform. The integration combines trusted low-altitude ADS-B surveillance with enterprise UTM capabilities, improving situational awareness, operational coordination, and deconfliction for complex drone missions.
FlightLine is powered by uAvionix’s nationwide FlightStation network and provides surveillance data across both ADS-B frequencies, 978 MHz UAT and 1090 MHz ES, enabling operators to detect cooperative aircraft operating at very low altitudes. Integrated into the Airwise platform through a secure API, the capability provides access to traffic information without requiring operators to deploy sensors, maintain infrastructure, or manage multiple independent systems.
The integrated solution provides continuous visibility of cooperative aircraft operating in shared airspace, alongside low-latency surveillance to support informed decision-making and deconfliction. It also provides real-time visibility into FlightStation sensor status and data integrity, while simplifying UTM deployment and supporting operations ranging from individual flights to nationwide enterprise drone programs.
Thomas Jimenez, Vice President of Uncrewed Systems at uAvionix, said, “Reliable surveillance data is the cornerstone of scalable autonomous aviation. By integrating FlightLine directly into the Airwise platform and Nexus COP, we are eliminating the burden of local sensor deployment while providing operators with trusted, FAA-grade airspace traffic data right out of the box.”
John Powers, Chief Revenue Officer at Airwise Solutions, added, “As drone operations continue to grow in complexity, operators need more than individual software tools; they need trusted data delivered within a unified operational environment. Our partnership with uAvionix brings together industry-leading surveillance with Airwise’s enterprise drone operations platform and UTM capabilities, giving organizations the operational airspace awareness and confidence needed to safely expand advanced drone operations.”
Jason George, General Manager of Skyway Range, commented, “Airwise Solutions is a great partner, and this technology integration enhances their platform and our ecosystem at Skyway Range. We are building the future of aviation in the city of Tulsa and beyond. Having a world-renowned airspace data provider coupled with a local UTM provider sends a message to the region that this ecosystem produces world-class technology, not just world-class infrastructure.”
The integrated capability is available immediately for Skyway Range participants and enterprise customers utilizing the Airwise platform and Nexus common operating picture, providing access to enhanced airspace awareness and supporting the continued expansion of safe BVLOS operations.
