SubC Imaging is set to integrate its advanced Rayfin Micro camera into Outland Technology’s remotely operated vehicle (ROV) systems, providing enhanced imaging capabilities for users.
The Rayfin Micro is a compact and lightweight ROV camera that integrates easily into Outland’s ROV-3000 and ROV-1500 models. It introduces features such as digital stills capture, water-corrected LiquidOptics, full HD and 4K capabilities, and real-time image enhancement into Outland’s existing ROV camera lineup.
These enhancements ensure precise, high-quality imaging for underwater inspections and surveys, allowing Outland to offer their customers clearer, more accurate results.
The partnership between the companies highlights the importance of incorporating advanced imaging technologies into ROV systems to meet the evolving demands of underwater inspections.
By integrating the Rayfin Micro, Outland Technology upgrades the capabilities of its ROVs and enhances quality and precision. As the need for high-resolution, real-time underwater data grows, the collaboration demonstrates how innovative solutions can elevate operational effectiveness and provide value to users.
Chad Collett, CEO of SubC Imaging, commented, “We developed the Rayfin Micro with partnerships like this in mind. Outland Technology’s reputation for innovative, reliable ROVs makes them the perfect fit for our high-performance cameras.”
Beau Moreau, Vice President of Outland Technology, added, “The integration of the Rayfin Micro camera is a significant enhancement for our ROV’s imaging capabilities. This addition provides the ability to capture high-resolution digital stills, stream in full HD and 4K, and enhance images in real-time—features that improve subsea inspections and surveys.”
