SubC Imaging has released a new set of features for its DVR+ software platform aimed at improving the way subsea inspection events are documented and managed.
The update introduces tools for real-time event logging, post-mission review, and structured data export. The company says the additions are intended to simplify inspection reporting processes by keeping operational event information connected directly to recorded video files throughout the workflow.
With the new live event tagging functionality, operators can record inspection events while operations are underway. Each entry is automatically associated with a timestamp in the video footage, enabling teams to document anomalies, observations, and other inspection points as they occur.
By integrating event capture directly into the software environment, the system reduces the need for separate handwritten notes or external spreadsheets during inspections.
Following completion of a dive or inspection task, users can review recorded events within the ReviewStudio application. Logged entries can be checked against the associated footage, updated with additional information, and refined before being finalized for reporting purposes.
The software also supports structured export of event data, allowing inspection information to be transferred into reporting systems and documentation workflows without manually re-entering data.
According to SubC Imaging, DVR+ is intended for offshore inspection and survey operations, including ROV teams and subsea contractors that require a more streamlined method for organizing inspection records and operational deliverables.
The combined workflow of live event logging, video review, and structured export is designed to support more consistent documentation and reduce the administrative effort associated with subsea inspection reporting.
