Rugged embedded systems provider Neousys Technology has officially announced support for Intel Raptor Lake, 13th generation Core i9/ i7/ i5/ i3 processors with up to 24 cores and 32 threads on its latest embedded platforms.
The supported platforms include Nuvo-9000, Nuvo-9531, and Nuvo-9501 series for industry and automation applications, and Nuvo-9160GC and Nuvo-10208GC series for edge AI computing and autonomous vehicle applications.
The latest 13th generation Core processor comes with up to 24 cores and 32 threads. With additional efficiency cores incorporated into i5, i7 and i9 processors, and increased cache capacity, Intel states that it offers single-threaded performance boosts up to 15% to multi-threaded performance boosts up to 41% when compared to the previous-generation platform. The overall system performance improvement is even more significant, up to 2x when compared to the previous 10th or 11th generation platforms.
Featuring Neousys’ unique industrial embedded design, Neousys’ Intel 13th Gen product series provide powerful computing performance and I/Os to meet the needs of vertical applications.
Nuvo-9000 series features thermal dissipation efficiency, rich I/Os, and flexible expansion to suit automation and machine vision applications. Nuvo-9160GC and Nuvo-10208GC series support the latest NVIDIA GPU cards to offer AI-computing and features patented thermal and anti-vibration designs that allow them to be deployed into harsh in-vehicle environments for ADAS applications. Neousys will launch 13th/12th generation platforms for in-vehicle (Nuvo-9000VTC series) and machine vision (Nuvis-9000 series) applications in the near future.
Furthermore, through a BIOS update, existing Neousys Intel 12th generation platforms can also support Intel 13th generation processors to ensure future upgrade compatibility and longevity.
“We are excited to support the latest 13th generation processors in Nuvo-9000/10000 series,” said Chris Ni, Product Director at Neousys Technology. “Neousys has been working closely with Intel so users can quickly leverage the powerful performance of 13th Gen Raptor Lake processors with exceptional stability and reliability.”
