UAVOS unmanned helicopter main rotor bladesUAVOS has launched its new next-generation composite main rotor blades for helicopter UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) with takeoff weight of up to 140 kg and rotor diameter of 3200 mm (126″). The aerodynamic design of the blades has been improved with the gluing of an all-metal edging into the leading edge, which also has the effect of increasing wear resistance under severe weather conditions and doubling the operating life of the blades.

The product of many hours of design, testing, and analysis by UAVOS’s engineers and clients, the new rotor blades significantly increase aircraft performance at high elevations and temperatures, and also increase fuel efficiency and reduce maintenance costs. The blades are fully interchangeable and feature a lifespan of 2600 hours.

Aliaksei Stratsilatau, CEO and Lead Developer at UAVOS, commented: “UAVOS’s advanced developments show our commitment to innovation and next-generation programs for the modernization of the unmanned helicopters. As a manufacturer of unmanned platforms and UAV components, UAVOS continues to push the envelope to find new and reliable solutions to let our customers fly longer, safer, and always for the best price.”
