This video from ParaZero Technologies Ltd. (ParaZero) showcases its DefendAir Stationary Turret counter-drone system, mounted on Trexmatic’s multi-purpose robotics platform, protecting critical infrastructure and sensitive facilities from hostile drones.
The DefendAir Stationary Turret C-UAS technology combines advanced optical detection and a tracking subsystem with an automated net-launching turret, enabling it to autonomously identify, track, and neutralize hostile drones across a full 360-degree perimeter.
The trial, carried out in real-life conditions in Israel, therefore tested the ability of DefendAir’s turret configuration to intercept drones using its detection and tracking capabilities. The system achieved 100% interception success in the demonstration, highlighting its effectiveness as a counter-drone solution.
The test was conducted with the participation of Trexmatic and under the oversight of the Israeli Ministry of Defense’s Department of Defense, the Chief Scientist Office, the Ministry of National Security, and the Israeli Prison Service.
Ariel Alon, CEO of ParaZero, stated, “This represents a significant step forward in expanding the operational flexibility of DefendAir. By adding our counter-drone technology into Trexmatic’s autonomous platform, we are creating a mobile and adaptable solution capable of defending critical infrastructure and sensitive areas from aerial threats.”
The DefendAir turret also complements ParaZero’s existing portable, hand-held net gun configuration. This expands the company’s multi-layered defense portfolio with mobile and stationary solutions suitable for defense and homeland security applications.
With the DefendAir turret system, Parazero provides governments, defense agencies, and operators of critical assets with a dependable last-line of protection.
