At XPONENTIAL 2025, Gremsy presented its VIO, an advanced lightweight EO/IR payload for drones. The VIO provides high-resolution imaging for public safety, industrial, and inspection operations.
Weighing 854 grams, the VIO includes a 4K zoom camera, a 640×512 radiometric thermal sensor, and an integrated 2400 m laser rangefinder. Already in use by several OEMs, it provides three-axis stabilized, high-resolution imaging. The VIO also features AI-enhanced object recognition and Auto-Zoom tracking. Its built-in NVIDIA Jetson delivers onboard compute capabilities, while the Payload Assistant app allows easy control and switching between EO, IR, and combined modes.
Ideal for search and rescue, disaster relief, firefighting, and industrial inspection, the Gremsy VIO combines versatility, precision, and compact design to meet the demands of modern drone operations.
