Camera gimbal and payload developer Gremsy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Republic of Korea-based NINANO COMPANY INC. to establish a framework for electro-optical and infrared payload collaboration on unmanned platforms.
The agreement establishes technical collaboration, system integration, and long-term supply cooperation between the two organizations. Initial engineering efforts will focus on an ongoing project evaluating the integration of Gremsy’s VIO G1 and LYNX electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) camera payloads into NINANO’s unmanned platforms. The joint work is intended to support missions across civilian public safety, monitoring, and industrial inspection, where reliable imaging and situational awareness are essential.
To facilitate deployment, the companies will combine their respective capabilities in engineering, research and development (R&D), and manufacturing to conduct system integration, technical evaluation, testing, and validation throughout the project lifecycle. This framework aims to align technical requirements and development priorities between the teams.
“Collaboration is essential to delivering integrated solutions that meet the demanding, life-critical requirements of public safety operations. Through our work with NINANO, we look forward to combining our technical expertise to bring Gremsy’s state-of-the-art payload technologies into real-world applications that protect communities and empower first responders,” said Tran Quoc Vinh, CEO of Gremsy.

For Gremsy, a specialist in camera gimbals and payload solutions for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) & Robotics, the agreement represents an opportunity to strengthen its market presence across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region while broadening cooperation with unmanned systems technology partners. The integration similarly supports NINANO in advancing its unmanned platforms for both domestic and international markets.
“Integrating Gremsy’s proven, high-performance EO/IR payload solutions into our unmanned aerial platforms marks a significant milestone for NINANO. This partnership allows us to elevate situational awareness and imaging reliability in critical public safety and inspection missions, accelerating the delivery of robust unmanned solutions to our global and domestic clients,” said Geon-Hong Kim, CEO of NINANO.
Moving forward, both organizations plan to develop a lasting and mutually beneficial relationship centered on ongoing technical cooperation and the advancement of UAV technologies and their real-world applications.
