Dynautics showcased its Phantom 2 AUV at Oceanology International 2026, presenting a multi-purpose underwater vehicle with payload capacity for a range of instruments.
The AUV supports fully pre-programmed missions, as well as dynamic mission adjustment using software that redirects the vehicle based on instrument data, battery status, or safety limits.
Building on the compact Phantom 1 AUV developed for the US Navy, Phantom 2 combines proven autopilot technology with a scalable design that can be customized for different payload requirements.
