Barcelona Drone Days 2025 brought together over 130 participants from five continents for live demonstrations and UAV industry collaboration.
The event, co-hosted by Videosoft Global, BCN Drone Center, Viasat, Gotonomi, AIR6 Systems, Volant, and Heron AirBridge, showcased cutting-edge technologies in aerial connectivity.
A key highlight was Videosoft’s demonstration of FireLight™, its real-time, ultra-low-bandwidth video encoding software. During the demo, an AIR6 drone in Klagenfurt, Austria, was controlled remotely while streaming high-quality video over 1,500 km to the BCN Drone Center via the Viasat Velaris network.
