Videosoft Global has been named as the exclusive live video stream provider under a strategic alliance in Brunei led by Navicom Aviation Corporation.
The agreement, signed with the Brunei government and formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), is focused on strengthening the country’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) ecosystem.
As part of the collaboration, Videosoft Global’s live video streaming technology, including its video compression and transmission capabilities, will be integrated into drone platforms to support surveillance, inspection, and monitoring across both public and private sectors in Brunei. Navicom Aviation, a reseller of Videosoft Global, will provide satellite connectivity to support reliable operations, including in challenging environments.
The alliance also includes InnovAero Sdn Bhd and SPI BN Sdn Bhd. InnovAero contributes local UAS expertise and operational experience, while SPI BN provides connectivity solutions to support the ecosystem.
The MoU was signed in Brunei by Koji Hiratsuka, CEO of Navicom Aviation. Cheng-Yu Tang, Chief Commercial Officer of Videosoft Global, was present in Brunei to witness the signing alongside Koji Hiratsuka, Aazzah Aziz, Founder of SPI, and Shafique Hussain, CEO of InnovAero.
Brunei was identified as a strong UAS market due to its maritime-focused geography, energy-driven economy, and growing security needs, with increasing demand for fast and cost-efficient aerial solutions.
The partnership brings together high-performance video, reliable connectivity, and operational capabilities to support the continued development of Brunei’s UAS ecosystem.
