Machining, Fabrication & Assembly

Our state-of-the-art machining, fabrication and assembly capabilities are tailored to meet the unique demands of UAV OEMs, enabling the creation of high-precision components and subsystems across a variety of platform types. We operate a near-clean-room environment staffed by industry experts and backed by Six Sigma processes and ISO and AS credentials, ensuring results of the highest standards no matter the complexity or volume.

The cutting-edge equipment in our in-house machining facilities includes 5-axis and Swiss capability machines, and we utilize offline simulation to maximize efficiency and reduce project lifecycles. Our highly skilled craftsmen work to ISO 9001 and AS 9100 quality management standards, ensuring greater print-to-part accuracy and shorter turnaround times.

Cable Assemblies & Wiring Harnesses

We are highly experienced in the creation of cable and wiring solutions that are built to withstand the harsh operating conditions of UAVs and unmanned systems.

Our  rugged ATE-tested & flightline qualified cables provide 75 lbs of tensile strength on each cable leg and are tested through a temperature range of -54 to +74 degrees Celsius.

Cables can be provided with adapters and interconnect solutions to support any mission requirements, and can be designed to be EMI-shielded or non-shielded.

PCB Assembly

We can design and manufacture electronic PCB assemblies for prototype or production applications with quick turnaround times. All designs are optimized for the unique demands of UAV operations, and can be ruggedized to withstand harsh environmental conditions.

Our advanced equipment includes a state-of-the-art pick-and-place machine that can be run for 24 hours non-stop to accommodate urgent requirements, and offers the following capabilities:

WP500-1 Smart Weapons Tester

Handheld digital tester capable for UAV armament systems

The WP500-1 SmartDVD (Digital Voltage Detector) is an all-in-one handheld flightline testing unit for armament systems. It has been deployed in 14 FMS countries on Boeing and Lockheed Martin aircraft, and is ideal for Group 5 UAVs or other unmanned aircraft platforms equipped with munitions capabilities. The versatile unit allows users to perform automated and user-definable TPSs and performs a variety of functions for the testing of airborne weapons systems and equipment.

The unit provides full multiplex bus testing capabilities according to MIL-STD-1553, and includes an LCD digital display that outputs real-time measurement data and can be easily read under all lighting conditions. The rechargeable Li-ion battery offers up to 50 hours of operation.
