Trace is a pocket-sized multirotor UAS that provides the capabilities of much larger platforms in a compact and lightweight form factor. The NDAA-compliant platform is protected by AES-256 encryption and is ideal for covert tactical ISR applications, boasting an exceptionally low noise signature. It is equipped with seven laser rangefinding sensors for reliable obstacle avoidance, as well as visual position sensors for full position control without GPS even in the dark.
The IP53-rated aircraft can withstand winds of up to 25 knots, and is capable of more than 30 minutes of flight time on a single standard battery and up to 45 minutes with the extended endurance battery. The system's computing power enables AI-assisted autonomy software for object classification and tracking.
Weighing just 153 grams, Trace sits well below the FAA's intrinsically safe weight threshold, allowing it to be used in a wide range of indoor and outdoor scenarios without risk or added certification requirements. Together with the Vision2 GCS, the foldable drone can be carried in a backpackable IP67-rated carrying case with a total system weight of just 3 lbs.
