MIRA X
HOTAS Portable UAV GCS
The MIRA X is Desert Robotics’ proven generation of single-screen unmanned ground control station, featuring a sunlight-viewable 19″ HD touchscreen and an integrated heads-up display. Based around interoperability, MIRA X offers a number of different radio systems, embedded compute options, and field accessories available to customise the GCS to fit the mission requirements.
The switch array allows users to fully customise I/O functions and physical switching to exact requirements. The system also features a full-sized keyboard with international options, as well as a large multi-gesture trackpad for easy and intuitive interaction.
The radio bay is optimised for internal space and is compatible with a wide range of radio modules, digital IP modems, video receivers, and third-party accessories.

The COMMAND XD2 is an advanced ground control station that has been specifically designed to be installed into command centres as well as mobile command vehicles such as vans and trucks. With a high degree of modularity, the versatile GCS allows users to easily switch between control of different unmanned configurations and platforms.
Easily integrated into any workstation, COMMAND XD2 can be connected to up to 3 monitors, providing all the displays and information users need at a glance. The GCS fully encompasses a customisable solution able to be tailored to exact mission requirements.
The optional RF Expansion Bay adds a USB Hub, Ethernet switch, and Desert Robotics’ RF switching board, which allows users to cycle between up to six different installed radio systems.
Desert Robotics’ GCS PanoView accessories are additional displays designed to connect directly to MIRA X. The 15” sunlight-viewable touchscreen displays give operators the ability to expand their available screen space and create a more flexible, mission-focused workspace.
The additional displays can be used to separate mission planning, vehicle telemetry, video feeds, mapping, payload controls, and other critical information, allowing operators to monitor multiple systems simultaneously without overcrowding the primary GCS display. PanoView displays provide operators with greater flexibility to configure their workspace around the specific requirements of their mission and application.
Collapsible Rugged Field Stands
Desert Robotics’ lightweight, heavy-duty field stands have been custom-engineered to fit MIRA X, providing rapid deployment and ease of operation in even the most rugged and remote locations. The hard-wearing design features a quick setup, requiring users only to drop the GCS Pelican case into the cutout, with collapsible legs mounted under the field stand.
