Silicon Sensing Systems Ltd has introduced the CRG21, a compact Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) gyroscope developed for use in demanding operating environments.
Designed as a direct replacement for the company’s established CRG20, the closed-loop, single-axis rate sensor retains the same footprint, supporting straightforward integration into existing systems.
The CRG21 is a fully integrated, single-chip digital device measuring 9.5 x 9 x 3.4mm. Its small form factor is intended to reduce space and weight requirements while helping lower overall inertial system costs.
The gyroscope is available with multiple rate ranges and bandwidth options and operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. It also offers high shock resistance, low angular random walk, stable bias performance across temperature and sustained low-noise operation.
