Septentrio has expanded its mosaic family with the introduction of the mosaic-G5 P6, a multi-frequency precise positioning module designed for commercial UAVs and industrial robotics.
The new module measures 23 mm by 16 mm and weighs 2.2 grams, providing a solution for applications where space and power are limited. Despite its small footprint, the receiver is equipped with AIM+ Premium technology, which is engineered to shield the device from sophisticated intentional or unintentional GNSS jamming and malicious spoofing attacks.
The receiver offers high update rates and low latency, which are critical components for the navigation and control systems of autonomous machinery. It is compatible with the Galileo High Accuracy Service (HAS), providing decimetre-level positioning immediately upon deployment. Beyond standard positioning, the module provides raw measurements suitable for high-performance sensor fusion.
Yasmine Hunter, Product Manager at Septentrio, stated, “By extending the mosaic family with mosaic-G5 P6, we are bringing an all-in-one module offering accuracy, resilience, and flexibility for demanding industrial applications.”
For orientation and motion control, users can select either single or dual antenna configurations. This flexibility supports accurate GNSS heading, which is essential for precision guidance systems. To assist with integration, the module is compatible with ROS and open-source autopilots such as PX4 and ArduPilot.

Septentrio, a part of Hexagon, also provides the mosaic-go G5 P6 evaluation kit. This kit is designed to streamline the prototyping process by offering direct autopilot connections, supported by the RxTools user interface for configuration and performance evaluation.
The company is showcasing the mosaic-G5 P6 at AUVSI’s Xponential in Detroit, USA, from May 11 to 14. Company experts are available at Booth #37030 to demonstrate the new technology and provide information on the Septentrio product portfolio.
