ParaZero Technologies Ltd. has entered into a reseller agreement with Romanian defense integrator New Akord Security to expand the reach of its autonomous aerospace defense solutions within the region.
The partnership focuses on the distribution of the DefendAir system, a multi-layered, soft-kill Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) platform. Utilizing patented net-launching technology, the system provides non-kinetic interception of hostile drones, a capability designed to protect troops and critical infrastructure with minimal collateral damage. The technology has previously demonstrated a 100% interception success rate during field trials.
As part of the initial agreement, New Akord Security has procured a demo kit including a Personal Net Launcher and Net Pod for training and evaluation purposes. This move reinforces the presence of ParaZero across Europe, particularly among NATO member states in proximity to the Russia-Ukraine conflict zone.
The two companies plan to conduct live demonstrations for the Romanian Ministry of Defense and other officials during the Black Sea Defense, Aerospace and Security (BSDA) International Exhibition in Bucharest. ParaZero, an aerospace defense firm listed on the Nasdaq, will be exhibiting at the Israeli National Pavilion between May 13 and 15, 2026.
Ariel Alon, CEO of ParaZero, said, “Rising tensions across Europe, coupled with the shift toward a multi-dimensional battlefield-where drones now play a central role-have made air defense increasingly complex and challenging. Our innovative solutions are specifically designed to address these pressing operational needs. This new reseller agreement reflects our commitment to strengthening partnerships that enhance airspace security for allied forces and critical assets.”
New Akord Security will be responsible for marketing the system across Romania while providing localized training and technical support for end users. The integrator has been working since 2021 to introduce last-line defense solutions against unmanned aerial threats to the domestic defense sector.
Valentin Dumitrache CEO added, “New Akord Security is honored to sign this new agreement with ParaZero Technologies. This agreement completes our sustained effort since 2021 to bring to the attention of the defense field a last-line solution against UAS and to contribute to better security and protection of lives and we look forward to this collaboration.”
This expansion follows a period of increased momentum for ParaZero in the European market, which recently included a strategic distribution agreement in Western Europe and live demonstrations of the DefendAir platform for senior NATO officers from multiple countries.
