T-MOTOR, a developer of safe and reliable propulsion systems, has launched its new AX series of cruise drone motors, including models AX435, AX525, and AX530, each available in front- and rear-shaft versions.
The T-MOTOR AX435 delivers continuous power of 1550W for strong, sustained performance. Since cruise drones do not always require maximum thrust and typically operate at lower power levels (around 300-500W) to maintain level flight, the motor runs efficiently within its optimal range, minimizing heat buildup and extending flight endurance.
The stator and enameled wire have significantly higher temperature resistance than standard motors, with the stator rated at 150°C and the enameled wire at 220°C. This allows the motor to operate effectively in harsh temperature environments without risking magnet demagnetization or coil damage.
The T-MOTOR AX435 also uses high-quality, precision industrial-grade bearings, which ensure long-term stability, low noise, and reduced friction during operation. This contributes to the overall performance and reliability of the motor.

Cruise drone motors generally are expected to have robust construction, using high-quality materials for durability and long service life, and excellent thermal management, with features like cooling fins and large stator sizes that help dissipate heat during continuous operation.
They must also feature precise electromagnetic design, incorporating a high number of magnetic poles and stator slots for smooth, efficient rotation and reduced cogging, along with a high power-to-weight ratio that provides strong thrust while keeping the motor lightweight for better agility and the ability to carry additional payloads, such as cameras or sensors.
T-MOTOR’s new AX series therefore embodies these qualities, making it well-suited for long-range and endurance flight applications.
