Under approval number EASA.AP537, the APDOA status officially authorizes the company to design aeronautical components in compliance with the rigorous ETSO (European Technical Standard Order) standards. This achievement marks the first time a company specialized in drone autopilots has earned such recognition, which was previously reserved for manned aviation. The certification represents a decisive step in setting new standards for the drone industry, enabling Embention to design systems that meet the highest technical requirements in civil aviation.
Following its APDOA approval, Embention obtained POA certification, making it the first EASA-authorized manufacturer of drone and eVTOL autopilots.
