BeeX has launched an SGD 10 million Series A funding round as the company reaches a critical inflection point for its AI-powered Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (HAUVs).

The investment round arrives during a period of heightened global focus on nearshore and offshore infrastructure, as well as critical subsea assets. This focus is driving exponential growth in subsea inspection requirements across multiple industrial sectors.

At the same time, a broader industry shift toward unmanned underwater operations reflects converging regulatory pressures, economic imperatives, and geopolitical tensions. Conventional inspection methods, including professional divers and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs), continue to demand large support vessels, highly specialized operators, and complex safety protocols, all of which contribute significantly to the high operational costs incurred during subsea inspection.
