UAVOS collaborated with the ALTER Technology TÜV NORD S.A.U team to complete overload and environmental testing of helicopter rotor blades for UAVOS’ rotorcraft platforms.
The overload test campaign consisted of simulated centrifugal loads above the nominal operational limit of 7,390 N (753.32 kg) and a dynamometer measurement of 389 N (39.65 kg).
This reinforced the rotor blades’ structural integrity under extreme stress, resistance to deformation and reliability of materials and manufacturing quality.
Environmental tests also verified the rotor blades’ reliability, durability, and safety in extreme climatic conditions ranging from -55 °C to +70 °C. These procedures are mandatory in UAV systems’ qualification process.
Aliaksei Stratsilatau, Founder and CEO of UAVOS, stated, “Our collaboration with the ALTER Technology team delivered not only solid data but also confidence that UAVOS’ products meet the highest standards in the unmanned systems industry.
“The results of the tests enable UAVOS to apply for security and defense grants, which impose strict requirements on unmanned platforms, and allow the company to confidently state that its blades are designed and tested to exceed operational limits.”
The successful completion of these tests is said to have enhanced confidence among potential partners and clients, cementing UAVOS’s position as a dependable OEM with a robust engineering culture.
