The Raybird sUAS, developed by Skyeton, a company specializing in unmanned systems, has been enhanced with a laser designator system.
This new capability allows for precise targeting, significantly increasing the platform’s effectiveness. The upgrade is particularly relevant to the unmanned systems industry, as it demonstrates a rapid adaptation to evolving battlefield needs.
Raybird is a long-range, multi-role unmanned aircraft system. It is now capable of detecting, illuminating targets, delivering cargo, returning to base, and rearming within a single mission cycle. This capability has already been tested in combat conditions and is now operating on the front lines.
Raybird UAV Features:
- Extended endurance
28+ hours - Long range
2500+ km - Multi-role capabilities
ISR, targeting, signal intelligence
Skyeton has implemented advanced technologies and optimized frequency usage to ensure Raybird’s effectiveness against evolving electronic warfare threats.
The integration of the laser designator system was one of Skyeton’s highest-priority projects and was completed in just six months.
