ParaZero Technologies, a leading developer of drone safety systems, has partnered with ABOT, one of France’s largest distributors of professional drone solutions, to expand the availability of SafeAir™ parachute recovery systems in the French market.
The partnership includes the launch of a co-branded product line, ABOT-PZ SafeAir, and establishes ABOT as an official reseller of ParaZero’s safety solutions, enhancing access to advanced drone safety technology across multiple industries.
ParaZero’s SafeAir system provides an autonomous parachute deployment solution that enhances safety in urban and high-risk environments. Equipped with real-time monitoring and advanced failure detection, SafeAir ensures a controlled descent in the event of an emergency. The system is designed to help drone operators meet global aviation safety regulations, making it a vital tool for commercial drone operations.
The partnership is bolstered by ParaZero’s recent CE Class C5 certification, a regulatory milestone that opens new opportunities in the European market. This certification enables the integration of SafeAir systems into drones seeking approval for Specific Operational Risk Assessment (SORA) scenarios under the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) framework, facilitating more scalable and regulatory-compliant drone operations across Europe.
Boaz Shetzer, CEO of ParaZero, said, “The partnership with ABOT marks an important step in expanding our footprint in Europe by making the SafeAir technology more accessible to drone operators and enabling them to unlock new flight modes. By launching the ABOT-PZ SafeAir brand, we are strengthening our commitment to safety and innovation in the entire European drone industry.”
ABOT has already placed its first order under the new agreement, underscoring the strong demand for drone safety solutions in France. The collaboration is expected to accelerate the adoption of parachute recovery technology across industries such as industrial inspections, emergency response, and urban air mobility, contributing to safer and more efficient drone operations.
