Specialists in surveillance data distribution and conversion systems for unmanned aerial systems, Sunhillo will be exhibiting at the 2024 AUVSI XPONENTIAL event taking place in San Diego, CA on 23-24 April, at Booth #3537.

Sunhillo’s XPO24 booth will feature the company’s latest surveillance radar acquisition and conversion solutions, as well as ADS-B receiver, and surveillance monitoring technology. The company will also be giving demonstrations on the booth of UAS integration with surveillance data fusion for situational awareness.

AAM OptiX™

In addition to exhibiting, Sunhillo will also be presenting as a part of the AAM OptiX team to detail how an ecosystem approach can move the industry forward with digital infrastructure to scale advanced air mobility.

The Turnkey Digital Infrastructure for Scaled Autonomy demonstration will be held at the Xponential Solutions Theater on Wednesday 24th April, at 2pm.

Funded by NASA and AFWERX to address the “integration and test tax” needed for a true aviation-grade system of systems solution, OptiX provides the core digital infrastructure needed for safe, secure, and scalable AAM operations.

OptiX represents a collaborative approach by industry leaders including Sunhillo, ResilienX, OneSky, AIS, HF Designworks, Anzen Unmanned, and TruWeather Solutions.

As a web-based digital infrastructure, OptiX can be integrated into physical infrastructures, sensors, and data feeds to holistically address air risk and enable safe UAS and eVTOL integration into the National Airspace System (NAS).

Sunhillo’s role in OptiX is to ingest surveillance sensor data, which will consist of various radars and ADS-B sensors, to provide a fused surveillance picture using cloud-based or on-premises SureLine® software.

The fused surveillance data is then fed directly to the OptiX surveillance display, and any additional surveillance monitors utilized, to view situational awareness data of crewed and uncrewed aircraft.

Sunhillo is agnostic to sensor formats leveraging a 30+ year history of providing surveillance data distribution and conversion systems to the FAA, US Military, and over 50 countries worldwide.
