In this video, HOBBYWING, a developer of advanced multirotor and Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) drone propulsion systems, demonstrates the P50M High-Voltage Integrated Propulsion System undergoing an 85°C high-temperature operation test.
Heavy-duty drones can encounter extreme heat during on-site tasks, making verified propulsion system reliability in high-temperature environments essential. The P50M system was tested in continuous operation for 24 hours at 85°C.
The results showed no performance degradation and no failures, demonstrating the system’s capability to support reliable Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operations in extreme heat environments.
The test highlights the suitability of the P50M propulsion system for demanding applications such as desert operations as well as oil and gas inspections.
