In September 2021, Elistair’s partner CloudCover deployed the Orion 2 tethered drone to fly continuously for six hours above a Guns N’ Roses concert.
To ensure the safety of the 14,000 fans, police at the University of Montana’s Washington Grizzly Stadium used the Orion 2 to achieve a persistent aerial view of the stadium and surrounding area.
The surveillance was streamed directly from the Orion’s electro optic and infrared sensors.
Orion’s 24h flight endurance and dual sensor payload enables it to carry out uninterrupted, day into night missions without the need to land.
