The IV series by IPET Systems, including models IV 7224 and IV 7215, is a collection of FOC-enabled integrated propulsion systems designed for fixed-wing UAVs. Find out more >>
The propulsion system has an all-in-one design, with the ESC integrated at the rear end of the motor housing, reducing wiring, simplifying installation, and lowering size and weight. The motor and ESC have a shared cooling channel design enhancing the efficiency of heat dissipation and ensuring stable operation at maximum continuous power.
IPET Systems’ solutions feature an innovative stainless steel anti-loosening bolt design. Two set screws are locked into the ESC base plate, preventing the motor bolts from loosening during installation and improving ease of assembly and maintenance.
The IV Series propulsion system supports dual throttle input via PWM or CAN signals and includes a redundant backup to ensure reliable operation.
The landing gear can be removed to reduce weight and cruise drag, depending on the UAV design.
Safety Features
The IV series incorporates many advanced safety features. The adaptive and customizable propeller locking position automatically adjusts holding torque in response to external forces, preventing blade-ground contact and ensuring property safety.
The non-slip teeth provide enhanced grip resistance, and a detachable pin delivers high shear strength, reducing the risk of bolt shearing and nut loosening.
The motor integrates a TP1000 temperature sensor and magnetic encoder. This enables real-time monitoring of critical parameters, such as motor temperature and RPM, ensuring aircraft flight safety.
The motor’s operation can be monitored in real time using built-in multi-layer protections, which detect overcurrent, overtemperature, overvoltage, stalling, and throttle signal loss. This ensures operational safety while allowing monitoring of vital parameters such as motor temperature and RPM.
