Xsens Sirius Dual-Antenna is a rugged RTK GNSS/INS combining dual GNSS antennas with inertial sensing for accurate positioning, orientation, and true north-referenced heading. Designed to determine heading without magnetic measurements or platform movement, the module can maintain heading information while an uncrewed vehicle is stationary. It provides 0.2° RMS roll and pitch accuracy, with heading accuracy ranging from 0.2° using a 0.5 m antenna baseline to 0.05° with a 2 m baseline. RTK positioning accuracy reaches 0.6 cm + 1 ppm CEP.
Housed in an IP68-rated aluminum enclosure, Sirius Dual-Antenna is suited to USVs and other unmanned systems operating in demanding environments. Integrated real-time heave output provides motion data with less than 5% performance up to a 29-second wave period and less than 6% up to a 40-second period. By integrating inertial sensing, dual-antenna heading, centimeter-level RTK positioning, and heave output, the unit provides navigation and motion information for unmanned platforms without relying on magnetic heading references.
