BlueView 3D Scanning & Profiling Sonars
BlueView 3D sonar systems address two different inspection tasks. The BV5000 MK2 mechanically scans underwater scenes to create 3D point clouds for site and structure inspection. The T2250-360 collects circumferential profiles in submerged tunnels or shafts. The systems differ in scan geometry and the navigation data required for 3D processing.
- BlueView BV5000 MK2 3D: 1.35 MHz mechanical scanning sonar with an integrated pan-and-tilt mechanism. Produces sector and spherical scans, has a 30 m maximum range, and is rated to 1,000 m. An optional tripod is available for surface-based deployment.
- BlueView T2250-360 Tunnel Profiler: 2,250 kHz, 360° profiler for submerged tunnels, caves, dam interiors, and shafts. Captures more than 45,000 range measurements per second. 3D processing uses navigation, heading, pitch and roll, sound velocity, position, and depth data.
