EO/IR payload for long-range ISR & targeting operations

The Octopus E180 / E180MG is a stabilized EO/IR payload combining a 4K color EO camera with a cooled MWIR thermal imager for long-range intelligence and surveillance missions. Featuring three-axis stabilization, 20x super resolution EO zoom, and 13.7x continuous MWIR optical zoom down to a 1.6° field of view, the system delivers detailed imaging and thermal detection at extended standoff distances. A built-in laser range finder supports accurate geolocation and targeting in demanding operational environments.

The payload incorporates onboard automatic object tracking, moving target indication, image enhancement, and internal video recording to reduce operator workload during surveillance operations. Supporting H.264 and H.265 encoding with adjustable bitrate and resolution settings, the system enables flexible video streaming through unicast and multicast transmission. Ruggedized with a sealed magnesium structure and IP64 protection, the ITAR-free payload is designed for reliable deployment across unmanned platforms operating in challenging conditions.
