Lowental Hybrid’s LH-01 is a fully parallel propulsion unit built on the company’s Native Parallel Hybrid™ architecture. Designed for fixed wing and VTOL UAVs in the 15–30 kg MTOW range, it integrates an air-cooled, single-cylinder two-stroke internal combustion engine with a motor, starter, and generator assembly. The system switches seamlessly between electric and combustion operation, providing quiet flight capability, automatic in-flight battery charging, and assured power redundancy.
The LH-01 starts automatically and uses electronically fuel-injected premixed gasoline or heavy fuel with 4% two-stroke oil. Offering endurance up to five times greater than comparable all-electric systems, it allows operators to select between silent battery operation or combustion power on demand. Compact construction and drop-in compatibility simplify integration while maintaining high reliability for sustained tactical missions.
