Leonardo DRS' STAG-5 family of two-axis stabilized gimbals is optimized for use on Group 1-3 UAS, supporting Common Launch Tube UAV and other ISR and targeting applications requiring reliable performance in a low-SWaP form factor.
Featuring powerful onboard HD image processing and an integrated GPS-aided INS for precise geopointing and geolocation, the gimbals support Ethernet control and output dual HD-capable H.264 video streams with MISB metadata.
The STAG-5 family includes six different off-the-shelf models, and Leonardo DRS can work with clients to create custom variants to suit specific mission requirements. The open-architecture design and common platform base allow for interoperability and deliver the same precision pointing and controls across the entire product range.
