Pulsar

Lightweight tactical quadcopter drone for aerial reconnaissance and surveillance

Pulsar is a compact tactical multirotor drone designed to provide real-time mission-critical aerial ISR (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance). Lightweight, rapidly deployable, and easy to operate, the system enables personnel to gain a clear view of the surrounding area and make faster, more informed decisions in dynamic operational environments.

Designed for rapid field operations, Pulsar can be deployed and ready for flight in less than 5 minutes. Its modular architecture supports evolving mission requirements, enabling the integration of future payloads and capabilities as operational needs change.

With a total take-off weight of just 444 grams, Pulsar offers up to 30 minutes of operational flight time and supports video monitoring and control at ranges of up to 2 km. The system integrates a high-performance camera gimbal for real-time observation, combined with an intuitive handheld controller and mission software to provide a complete, ready-to-operate ISR solution.

Target

Compact aerial target drone for realistic military training

Target is a compact drone designed to support military training, testing and operational exercises. Easy to deploy and operate, the system provides a realistic and cost-effective solution for live training, equipment evaluation and other scenarios requiring a repeatable airborne target.

With a total take-off weight of 380 grams, the drone provides a maximum operational flight time of 25 minutes. It uses 5 GHz Wi-Fi as a primary radio link with a range of 350 meters, and a secondary 2.4 GHz XBee radio link with a range of up to 1000 meters.

Supporting Systems

Transport & Deployment Platform

The Transport & Deployment Platform simplifies the storage, movement and rapid deployment of target drones. Its field-ready design allows operators to prepare, launch and recover multiple drones, with minimal setup time and logistical requirements. Each stackable EPP case holds six drones and is supplied with a polycarbonate top cover. The rain- and dustproof platform supports take-off from ground angles of up to 15 degrees.

Training & Technical Support

Aterrion provides a comprehensive suite of training and technical support services covering the deployment, operation and maintenance of the company’s drone systems. An intensive three-day course led by an expert trainer is available at Aterrion’s facilities, covering an introduction to Aterrion and its systems, mission preparation, case studies and system failsafes.

On-site technical support is also available for operational deployments. An Aterrion technician can be present during a mission and in the days leading up to it, providing personalized assistance and helping to ensure that equipment is prepared and performing correctly.

Applications

Area Surveillance

Aterrion drones can be used to monitor sensitive areas, strategic assets and infrastructure using live aerial observation. The compact design allows it to be deployed wherever additional surveillance coverage is required, providing operators with a clearer view of activity across the area of interest.

Perimeter Security

Pulsar supports force protection by providing aerial overwatch of bases, temporary camps and restricted zones. The drone can be deployed to monitor perimeter areas and provide live information to personnel responsible for maintaining site security.

Mission Support

Live video feeds from Pulsar can support commanders and field operators during tactical missions. By providing real-time aerial observation, the system helps personnel maintain situational awareness and access timely information throughout the operation.

Swarm Drone Operations
