Gadfin Aero-Logistics Systems has officially begun serial production of the Spirit One HD, a Group 3 electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) powered by hydrogen fuel cells.
Production has started at the company’s new facility following several months of engineering work focused on the Spirit One HD. Gadfin is preparing for commercial deployment of the aircraft.
As part of the production process, the company has been integrating critical systems with a focus on performance and reliability and transferring designs to the production floor for scaling.
Gadfin is also preparing for commercial pilot flights with strategic partners, which will simulate complex commercial scenarios.
The company identifies heavy-weight, long-range business-to-business aerial delivery as an unmet market need and positions the Spirit One HD as addressing limitations in range and payload capacity.
