ePropelled has introduced the SKYLARK Series, a high-performance and fully integrated propulsion system designed for light to medium duty unmanned aerial vehicles.

Integrated Propulsion System Simplifies UAV Design

Launched at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026, the system addresses operational demands for modular design and rapid assembly across defense, industrial, and commercial uncrewed applications. By combining motor and controller components into a single integrated solution, the technology allows aircraft designers to create more compact platform designs or increase payload capability. The design also minimizes the necessary wiring and connections, reducing assembly times per aircraft while improving manufacturing repeatability at scale.

“We are seeing a clear shift toward the need to scale production of more capable UAV platforms without compromising reliability, performance and mission effectiveness,” said Dean Marcarelli, Chief Commercial Officer of ePropelled. “SKYLARK has been engineered specifically to meet those requirements, delivering ePropelled’s renowned power, endurance and integrated control solutions in a compact unit for efficient and fast assembly.”

The system is part of the company’s eP Unified Architecture and includes ePConnect onboard to integrate with a broader range of matched motors, controllers, and intelligent power systems. This architecture enables system-level propulsion management and control, aiming to simplify system integration, improve commissioning, and enhance operator control for mission reliability. Additionally, the series is built using secure and sovereign supply chains, making it a National Defense Authorization Act compliant solution for European and NATO-aligned manufacturers and operators.
