Rhino Series

The Rhino Series combines a high-performance motor, inverter, encoder and intelligent motor control in a compact integrated electric drive for wheeled and tracked UGVs. With system efficiency of 90%+, the rugged propulsion solutions make optimum use of available battery energy to extend operational endurance. The coordinated architecture reduces wiring and engineering effort, providing a scalable foundation for light-, medium- and heavy-duty autonomous ground platforms.

The range encompasses the GPM35 for lightweight UGVs and inspection robots, the GPM50 for logistics vehicles and heavier payloads, and the GPM70 for tactical platforms, cargo transport and challenging terrain. Field-oriented control provides precise torque and speed management, with CAN 2.0A communications for vehicle integration. Built-in ePConnect monitoring and diagnostics allow developers to assess performance during testing and maintain visibility into deployed systems.

IP67-rated construction and forced-air cooling provide the environmental protection and thermal performance required for demanding field operations. All Rhino models are available as integrated units or with independent motor and controller assemblies, allowing designers to accommodate available space, cooling arrangements and installation requirements.
