UAV Navigation-Grupo Oesía and EOS Technologie have strengthened their partnership to integrate advanced Counter-UAS capabilities into high-performance interceptor platforms.
The technological collaboration combines UAV Navigation-Grupo Oesía’s expertise in guidance, navigation, and control systems with EOS Technologie’s high-performance unmanned platforms, including the VELOCE-330 designed for high-speed engagement scenarios.
Within this framework, specialized autopilots enable the unmanned platforms to execute fully autonomous interception missions, guiding the aircraft through all phases from the initial target approach to terminal engagement. Advanced guidance algorithms continuously adapt the interceptor’s trajectory in real time, ensuring effective engagement against fast and maneuvering targets.
Unlike traditional defense approaches that rely on predicting where a target will be, this system focuses on continuous, real-time trajectory adaptation. This methodology demands high-dynamic performance, onboard autonomy, and a control system capable of operating under uncertainty with minimal response time across the entire engagement chain from detection to target engagement. Within this architecture, the guidance, navigation, and control system serves as the core enabler, transforming sensor data into decisive action to determine mission success.
To ensure precise targeting, the solution integrates AI-based visual data processing for target detection and tracking, remaining completely agnostic to the specific optical system or seeker employed. Combined with inertial navigation, multi-sensor fusion, and AI-based visual navigation, this sensor-agnostic approach ensures accurate positioning and mission continuity even under challenging jamming or spoofing conditions. Furthermore, advanced optical terminal guidance and high-dynamic trajectory control enable precise engagement in demanding operational environments.
The system is also designed for coordinated multi-platform operations. Enabled by the integrated autopilots, the solution incorporates swarm-ready guidance and distributed engagement concepts specifically tailored to address saturation scenarios involving multiple simultaneous threats. By bringing together complementary capabilities from Spain and France, this collaboration strengthens European industrial cooperation in defense while supporting allied nations with enhanced technological sovereignty, resilience, and operational independence.
