Drone gimbal and camera payload manufacturer Gremsy has announced its official participation in the Japan Drone Show 2026, where the company will unveil its newest technology.
Over the past 15 years, Gremsy has supplied image stabilization systems to more than 300 drone manufacturers and system integrators across 65 countries. In Japan, the company commands a significant market presence, with over 80 percent of local unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) manufacturers — including industry leaders such as ACSL, Aerosense, and Amuse Oneself — integrating Gremsy products into their flight platforms.
The upcoming exhibition will feature technology tailored to specific industrial and safety requirements across four main sectors. For mapping and surveying, the company provides high-resolution payloads for geospatial data acquisition, large-scale topographic mapping, and precision forestry management. For public safety and search and rescue operations, the stabilized payloads utilize thermal imaging to enhance situational awareness during high-risk firefighting and rescue missions. Additionally, the technology supports specialized infrastructure inspection for power grids and bridges, alongside security monitoring of national assets using artificial intelligence.
“For Gremsy, the Japanese market represents more than just a strategic priority-it is a cornerstone of our global vision,” stated Mr. Trieu Tran, Japan Business Development Director at Gremsy. “Our 8-year journey in Japan has been shaped by local partners who hold the highest standards for quality. By combining our historically reliable hardware with next-generation AI integrations, we are proud to deliver solutions that enable Japanese enterprises to implement UAV and robotics technology with unmatched trust and precision.”
The company’s display will feature its National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) compliant payload and gimbal lineup. This includes the field-proven Pixy LR and Pixy MR series designed for industrial mapping, alongside the newly released VIO, ORUS L, and LYNX series optimized for advanced data collection and inspection. Gremsy will also present a premium pre-launch preview of KESTREL, its flagship AI camera payload developed for superior intelligence, rapid situational awareness, and durability in mission-critical operations.
