NTI Electronics, a leader in ruggedized computing solutions, has launched the Dragonfly NR-8 DUAL, a high-precision, dual-screen Ground Control Station (GCS) designed to meet the demands of mission-critical Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) operations.
Engineered for operators who require reliable control, rapid-access functionality, and superior situational awareness, the NR-8 DUAL delivers performance and durability in the most challenging environments.
Built to meet MIL-STD-810/461 and IP-66 standards, the Dragonfly NR-8 DUAL is ruggedized for tactical, industrial, and inspection missions, providing dependable operation under extreme conditions. Its modular design allows for full customization of joysticks, switches, and control layouts, enabling operators to tailor the GCS to their specific workflow requirements.
The dual-screen configuration enhances mission visualization by separating live video feeds from critical system data, ensuring operators maintain clarity and focus under high-pressure scenarios. Powered by 12th Gen Intel® Core™ processors with Intel® vPro™ technology, the NR-8 DUAL delivers exceptional computing performance and integrates advanced security features, including TPM 2.0 and NIST BIOS compliance, safeguarding sensitive mission data. Optional connectivity modules for LTE, Wi-Fi, and GPS extend operational flexibility, allowing seamless integration with multiple unmanned platforms.
The Dragonfly NR-8 DUAL is equipped with Intel® Core™ i7-1250U or i5-1230U processors, 8 to 16 GB of RAM, and PCIe SSD storage ranging from 256 GB to 1 TB, all running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit for a smooth, high-performance computing experience.
Operators control the system through dual 2-axis Hall-effect joysticks, a 1-axis thumbwheel, programmable buttons and switches, and full stylus support for precision input. Connectivity options include dual Ethernet ports, USB 2.0 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, as well as optional LTE, Wi-Fi, and GPS modules, while a VESA 50 mount and an auxiliary 8-inch LCD with 10-point touch capability and 800-nit brightness expand operational versatility.
The Dragonfly NR-8 DUAL is now available for deployment across defense, industrial, and inspection applications.
