NTI Electronics has introduced the PD-1 Operator Controller, a compact, lightweight, and ergonomic solution designed for high-performance control of drones, robotics platforms, and mission-critical systems.
The PD-1 sets a new standard in operator control, combining advanced precision with long-lasting comfort, ensuring efficiency in demanding field operations.
Weighing just 400g and featuring a rugged aluminum housing with MIL-spec hard anodized finish, the PD-1 is built to withstand extreme conditions. With a wide operating temperature range from −20°C to +60°C and an IP66 protection rating, it is engineered to endure the harshest environments.
At the heart of the PD-1 are high-precision Hall-effect control sticks, offering smooth, accurate input for low-latency operation. The controller’s ergonomic design reduces operator fatigue during long missions, making it an ideal tool for professionals in the field. The unit integrates seamlessly with Windows, Linux, and macOS platforms via a USB 2.0 connection, requiring no drivers for plug-and-play functionality. Optional configuration tools and customizable input mapping provide the flexibility to tailor the PD-1 for specific mission roles and platform requirements.
The PD-1 Operator Controller is certified to meet MIL-STD-810 for shock and vibration, MIL-STD-461 for electromagnetic interference, and is RoHS and REACH compliant, ensuring reliability and safety across a range of critical operations.
