AGISTAR has launched the USVSTAR, an addition to its unmanned surface vehicle (USV) lineup.

The USVSTAR, designed as the compact evolution of the BX-USV II, delivers powerful performance in a portable, modular frame built for real-world deployment.

The USVSTAR, measuring under one meter and weighing approximately 15kg once fully equipped, is said to be the most customizable Unmanned Surface Vehicle available today. The USVSTAR is engineered for easy disassembly and rapid transport, making it ideal for operations in remote or hard-to-access locations. Despite its compact size, the vehicle has a payload capacity of up to 35kg and cruises at speeds of up to 3 meters per second.

Built on a catamaran-style platform, the USVSTAR is optimized for adaptability. It performs seamlessly in open seas, coastal areas, and shallow waters. For operations in environments with dense vegetation or debris, the vehicle can be equipped with an optional aerial propeller system, ensuring smooth navigation even in challenging conditions such as heavy seaweed presence.

The USVSTAR’s versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of missions, from water sampling and bathymetric surveys to underwater inspections and environmental monitoring. Its modular architecture allows users to customize the system based on specific operational requirements.

With the launch of the USVSTAR, AGISTAR continues to push the boundaries of autonomous marine technology, offering professionals a lightweight, mission-ready solution that combines portability, performance, and precision.
