Eurolink Systems and BE1 Defense Technologies and Solutions and have partnered to introduce Eurolink’s Beluga™ quadcopter drones in Latin America (LATAM).

The multi-purposed Beluga drones can float on water and offer military grade capabilities, with the ability to carry a variety of cameras according to specific needs.

The Beluga’s anti-hacking features make it ideal for police and military use, as well as other first responders and intelligence missions.

The initial driver of the program is for BE1 to represent Eurolink’s Beluga family of mini-drones, with emphasis on the Latin American region. BE1 asserts that the company is well-situated in this target area, with almost two decades of experience.

Eurolink Systems is a distributor, service provider, and a qualified subsystems integrator for embedded electronic processing solutions focused on homeland security, defense and aerospace mission-critical target applications.

This experience has fueled the development and introduction of the Beluga family of mini-drones, which has reportedly gained support and acceptance within Defense/Military and a range of Commercial Industry applications.

Alam Armando Cortez Arias, BE1’s Director of Latin America and Spain, commented; “Eurolink and BE1 share many similarities regarding the professional principles upon which these companies were founded, for this reason mutual cooperation is of vital importance for the Latin American region, given that currently local Armed Forces, Police and Emergency institutions lack drones of high military and information protection standards such as the Beluga Family drones.

“The Beluga Drones provide a technological solution for the region and solves the problem of being able to carry out operations at sea since it has the capacity to carry out landings without any problem for the drone equipment as well as offering the capacity for long-distance operations.”

Eurolink Systems President, Pietro Lapiana, remarked; “It is an honor for Eurolink Systems to start this cooperation for LATAM Countries with a professional, focused organization like BE1 Defense.

“I am confident that the performances of the Beluga system designed by Eurolink, coupled with BE1’s specific expertise in the LATAM market, is the right mix to provide our Customers with what they need. This valuable relationship with BE1 Defense is a milestone in that it extends our influence to the Latin American market and is a powerful launch pad for the Beluga.”

Mrs. Ilil Podliszewski Lavi, BE1’s President, added; “Our assessment is that the Latin American market represents a significant opportunity and our customer base has confirmed that the timing is right for a solution, like the Beluga family of mini-drones.

“The Beluga drones family offers high quality and versatile unique capabilities which perfectly match LATAM’s different countries’ needs and requirements, thus creating substantial business opportunities that will also modernize LATAM’s technological capabilities and its ability to respond to and mitigate different threats and challenges the region is facing.”
