Smith Myers’ is launching ARTEMIS+, the next generation of the ARTEMIS range of mobile phone detection, location and communication systems, at Farnborough International Airshow.
The all-new ARTEMIS+ features are designed to meet the requirements of new capability areas as the system continues to evolve into new operational roles.
Since its introduction into the world of Search and Rescue (SAR), new customers and users have been finding different ways to leverage this new and unique sensor, acknowledged as the industry gold standard.
Recent contract awards from organisations covering sectors including Long Range Maritime Patrol, Aerial Fire Fighting and Border/Pollution Control reflect this broadening scope. The system has also proven invaluable with new Law Enforcement and Military customers.
ARTEMIS+ builds on the features of the groundbreaking ARTEMIS systems, introducing additional capabilities that include:
- Advanced Cellular Mission Analysis Tools
- Advanced Cellular Interactions
- Mission Replay
- New Map Options – including alternate source and overlays
- AIS & Cellular Pattern Analysis Tools
- Improved Real-time and Post-mission Mapping
- System Output Power Control
Existing ARTEMIS systems are compatible with this new capability set and can be upgraded with a simple software update. Smith Myers is currently exhibiting at Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) Stand ADS Group Stand 1023.
