Axon, a producer of public safety technology, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Dedrone, a global leader in airspace security. 

Dedrone is set to strengthen Axon’s ability to help users safeguard their communities, improve response to critical incidents and protect even more lives in more places.

Axon aligns itself with Dedrone’s goal to protect against increasing drone threats and advance the use of Drones as First Responders (DFR)

Axon state that its mission to Protect Life finds a powerful ally in Dedrone, whose innovative technologies provide immense value to public safety and national security entities worldwide.

Axon assert that the acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the second half of 2024.
