The Eye Above project was showcased at XPONENTIAL 2025, Houston, Texas. The Eye Above is a drone‑development initiative with the aim of supporting wildlife protection, particularly anti‑poaching efforts, in Africa.
The HP Jet Fusion 5600 Series printer was used to manufacture the airframe and components. HP’s MJF (Multi Jet Fusion) technology allows internal lattice/cellular structures, fine feature resolution, and rapid cycle prototyping. This was a key enabler for The Eye Above’s lightweight design.
