Velox, developed for UAV applications, features high-resolution visible and thermal cameras, enabling night vision and motion detection. The camera also has fast angular velocity and advanced auto-tracking features for aerial imaging in a compact and efficient package.
The technology incorporates Nanomotion motors providing high acceleration and velocity. This creates an efficient gyro-stabilized system with a stabilization performance of 80 µrad.
The system captures six full fields of view per second, enabling a user-configurable matrix of images that can be stitched together in multiple configurations. This flexibility, alongside Nanomotion’s compact size and reduced power consumption, means Velox optimizes Size, Weight, and Power (SWAP).
Velox is fully compatible with the Mavlink protocol and the Nvidia NX platform, ensuring straightforward electrical and mechanical integration for customers.
