Q-Boat 1250 USV

The Oceanscience Q-Boat 1250RP is an easy-to-deploy remote-controlled USV platform designed for acoustic Doppler current profiling. The system can be operated by a single person.

With an innovative twin-thruster propulsion system, the vessel can reach a top speed of 2.3 m/s (7.5 fps), and is also highly effective at very low velocities for river discharge measurement.

With no need for a tether line or bridge, the Q-Boat 1250RP saves time and money for current profiling in streams, rivers, lakes and coastal waters.

Advancing Unmanned Systems Through Strategic Collaboration UST works with major OEMs to foster collaboration and increase engagement with SMEs, to accelerate innovation and drive unmanned systems capabilities forward.
