Syrinx DVL is a dual-purpose acoustic navigation and profiling system that combines a high-precision Doppler Velocity Log (DVL) with a full Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP). Designed for AUVs, ROVs, and USVs, Syrinx delivers accurate velocity, altitude, and water current data in one compact instrument. Its adaptive bottom lock technology maintains reliable performance across varied seabed conditions, supporting altitude tracking up to 230 meters and depth ratings to 6,000 meters. Available in 400 kHz and 600 kHz configurations, Syrinx offers high-altitude or high-resolution operation, reducing free inertial time and improving navigation continuity in complex subsea environments.

When integrated with Sonardyne’s SPRINT INS, Syrinx enables advanced beam-level data sharing that enhances precision, minimizes drift, and allows continued navigation even with partial beam loss. Its built-in web-based System Manager simplifies setup and monitoring without the need for external software, while the titanium housing, replaceable transducers, and water-blocked array ensure durability and maintainability. Supporting PD0, PD3, PD4, PD6, and PD13 telegrams for compatibility with third-party navigation systems, Syrinx provides unmatched flexibility as a standalone DVL, a current profiler, or an integrated hybrid navigation component for marine robotics and survey platforms.
