ORBIT Series

The ORBIT family of outrunner BLDC motors has been designed for unmanned system applications with strictest requirements regarding weight, compactness and efficiency. Our ORBIT motors have best in class power-to-weight ratio and allow for very long endurances and operational times. The design features multiple bearings and is significantly more robust than most comparable motors on the market. The ORBIT family is available in the power range from 1 kW to 15 kW.

All ORBIT motors are made-to-order and tailored to the specific requirements of our customers. This can include adjustments to housing, shaft, number of poles, winding, cooling, etc. These customizations allow us to build the most efficient solutions for the specific load profile of our customers. Our engineering team works hand in hand with you and provides the required technical support and system integration advise.

Key Benefits:

  • Compact size and length
  • Very low weight
  • Best in class power-to-weight ratio and efficiency
  • Increased robustness through three bearing design
  • Useful for applications with high torque requirements
  • No need for gear boxes in most applications
