The PT-8 Smart Sensor is a versatile day-night imaging system designed for autonomous wide-area search, object detection, and sensor-to-sensor collaboration from uncrewed platforms. Dual RGB sensors of different focal lengths provide detection and interrogation of objects of interest, and are supported by HD LWIR for thermal-based imaging. Forward-looking RGB and LWIR video cameras provide additional situational awareness for operators and uncrewed systems.
Built for integration with unmanned aircraft and multi-sensor systems, the PT-8 incorporates onboard processing and automation software to enable real-time detection workflows. Multisensor teaming is enabled by Cursor-on-Target (CoT) messaging, enabling the system to share detection location data in real time and rapidly focus collaborative assets on target detections.
